The Painted Burro is a neighborhood restaurant in Somerville, MA offering a seasonal menu that highlights the diverse cuisines of Latin America.

Commissioned by restaurateurs Marty Bloom & Chef Joe Cassinelli, we looked to the cheeky aesthetic of the 70s and the rich culture of Mexico to create a scheme that perfectly captures the playful and witty mood of the disco era.
The interior creates a vibrant and playful environment, with lush materials and and a cheerful palette with contemporary artwork adorning the walls.
